Biorevitalization

Facial biorevitalization is a an injection procedure that revitalizes facial skin with a skin conditioned rejuvenation cocktail. The skin becomes “fuller”, gets a youthful glow, and its texture improves.

Biorevitalization is procedure in which the main causes for natural skin aging are addressed by injecting a cocktail into the epidermal layers of the skin. Three main components offer a long-lasting combinatory effect. High molecular mass hyaluronic acid provides a deep, long-standing hydratation effect. The antioxidant mannitol prolongs the effect of hyaluronic acid and protects skin cells from destruction by free radicals. Further the skin is nurtured and stimulated to form collagen by vitamins and collagen.

All combined, the cocktail allows for a great hydration, better tonus and elasticity of the skin, which leads to an overall, younger and healthier appearance.

What is the difference between mesotherapy and biorevitalization?

The procedure of biorevitalization is actually quite similar to mesotherapy. Two important differences however are the depth of injection, as well as the time period in which the procedure should be repeated. The depth of injection is somewhat greater for biorevitalization, because the cocktail contains highly concentrated hyaluronic acid with a high molecular weight, which is inject into deeper skin layers. The hyaluronic acid remains in the skin for a long time, while this is not necessarily the case for the mesotherapy components.
In effect less repetitions are needed when we do biorevitalization, and the time period between treatments is longer in relation to mesotherapy. Certainly, the effect of biorevitalization itself is noticed much earlier and lasts longer.

How does hyaluronic acid (the main component of the injection cocktail) work?

During aging, we lose hyaluronic acid and collagen, and their reproduction in the body is in parallel slowed.
The skin becomes thinner, less elastic, tone is lost, wrinkles form and skin quality overall reduces.
By injecting hyaluronic acid, we boost hydration within the skin and restart/stimulate the processes of creating new collagen, and renew skin cells. Hyaluronic acid has a great hydrating power capacity as binds 50 times more volume of water than its own mass. This improves the quality of the skin. The skin becomes “fuller”, gets a youthful glow, and the texture of the skin improves.

What is the role of amino acids in the biorevitalization cocktail?

Amino acids are the building blocks of collagen and other molecules. They promote the stimulation of fibroblasts and acceleration of collagen synthesis, which leads to better skin quality, tone and texture.

What effects can I expect from a biorevitalization procedure?

With this procedure

  • the quality, texture and hydration of the skin is improved
  • the skin is youthful in appearance and radiant
  • hyperpigmentation is reduced, fine wrinkle lines disappear, photodamage is repaired
  • regenerative processes start in the skin, slowing down aging and making the skin healthy and beautiful

How is a biorevitalization procedure conducted?

First, an anesthetic cream is applied to the treated region, ensuring a painless, pleasant treatment. After 30 minutes, the skin is disinfected and the biorevitalization cocktail is injected with multiple small injections. The used needles are very thin, reducing the risk of any injection damage significantly.
After the treatment, a mask can be applied to soothe the redness of the face or just apply a protective cream.
The whole procedure takes up to an hour and is painless.

How long is the recovery period (downtime) after the biorevitalization treatment?

The downtime varies a bit between patients. For most, the redness passes in a couple of hours, some do not experience it at all.
For at least 12 hours after the intervention, the use of make-up and stronger physical activity leading to sweating are not recommended.
After this period, the usual skin care should be continued.

For which conditions is the procedure recommended for?

  • for dry & thin skin that is prone to wrinkles
  • in case of photodamage to the skin
  • for dehydrated skin
  • at the appearance of the first signs of aging
  • for skins that have been exposed to the sun, i.e. high temperatures
  • for skin that have been exposed to cold i.e. low temperatures

Which regions can be treated with biorevitalization?

  • face
  • neck (regenerates and achieves better tone – fullness of the skin)
  • décolleté
  • wrinkles above the lips
  • dark under-eye circles

Selected body areas can also be treated:

  • hands (back of hands)
  • stomak
  • unutrašnja strana butina
  • nadlaktice
  • predeo iznad kolena

How many biorevitalization treatments are needed?

On average, 3-4 treatments are needed at intervals of one month.

We recommend to conduct two treatment sessions before any holidays, ie. before exposing the skin to excessive sunlight. After returning, two more sessions can be conducted. The same applies for the winter period, when the skin is exposed to low temperatures. In effect, the skin will be prepared and protected from the effects of UV radiation, and we will avoid photoaging. We recommend strongly to use sunscreen on any sun exposure.
